Site Rules

DISCLAIMER:

The members and administrators of GA.ning are not associated with Ally Carter in any way, shape or form. They are not knowledgeable when it comes to matters such as spoilers, Ally's insight or what will happen in future books. They are, however, knowledgeable when it comes to matters such as current and past Gallagher books, information stated on Ally's website and awesomely hot guys. GallagherAcademy.ning.com is simply a fansite created by and for fans.

RULES:

Here are your basic rules and information for things around GA.ning. Make sure to follow our rules and regulations diligently: you will only get one warning for breaking the rules before you are banned. One. No ifs, ands or buts about it.

1. Be respectful. As Ally wisely puts it in LYKY, don't use the skills of the sisterhood against the sisters.
2. No personal information. First name, country, state are fine. Even cities if you feel comfortable putting that in. But you are not, I repeat NOT allowed to give out addresses, phone numbers, or other information that a stalker could use against you. Email addresses are allowed to be given out, if you feel comfortable giving someone your email, but only by private messaging, unless it's a contest or other special event that involves using email. This is for everyone's safety, and everyone should probably already know this.
3. Don't lie. Please. we don't appreciate members of the site being manipulated in any way, or getting false information. Plus, we will find out if you are lying about something. We're teenagers with unhealthy esponiage obsessions. We will find out.
4. Keep it T rated. This is one of the biggest things here. Mild swearing is acceptable, but only about as much as a YA author might put in their books. Gallagher Girls have some younger fans too. No inappropriate content is allowed. This applies to any form of text (ex. comments, blogs, forums, etc, etc), keep photos appropriate, and on the chat. If any administrator finds any media or text inappropriate, they have the right to delete it immediately.
5. NO SPOILERS! This is a big one. Please, please do not put spoilers or hints about a book's events in without putting in a warning (big and bold, 2-3 paragraphs before the content) or being in a specific spoiler forum. Thank you.
6. We'd really appreciate it if no one advertised other fan sites, Gallagher Girls or otherwise.. If you have a site you'd like our members to know about, please message the GA admins with the address, and we'll add it to the links page. We've worked hard to get the number of members GA has now, and really wouldn't like losing them all.

BAN POLICY

If you break a rule, you will receive a warning. Once you receive three warnings, you will be banned.

• 1st Ban: 1 week
• 2nd Ban: 1 month
• 3rd Ban: Permanent

SITE FEATURES:

• Page: Upon signing up, you are given your own member page. You can change the theme, profile picture, and profile information whenever you want. You can also add fun applications to the page.
• Members: You can make friends with other members, and visit profiles.
• Media: You can add pictures, videos, and music to the site.
• Forums: Start a discussion or reply to existing discussions in the forum area.
• Groups: Start or join a group fitting your individual interest(s). Fanfiction, art, or other books are some existing groups we have.
• Blogs: Write blogs about anything you'd like! Others can comment on them as well.
• Chat: Live chat with other members online. To chat, go to the chat bar that is on the bottom of every page.
• Missions/Mizzions/Contests: We have contests here on the site! The administrators will occasionally run contests for various topics. Previous contests have been for a site background, logo, and site admins. Contests here are usually referred to as Mizzions.
• Links: Go to the links page (accessible from the "Clandestine Locations" tab near the top) to find other Gallagher Girls sites.
• Events: Plan and come to various events, planned by the members of the site. RSVP to come to chats, book releases, and more.
